Dear Father Vincent Capodanno Catholic Academy Family,
It is an honor and a privilege to write this letter of introduction as your new Assistant Principal of FVCCA. I look forward to working with our new Principal, Mrs. Debbie Cretella, our Pastor, Father Michael Martine, and all of our students, families, faculty, staff, and community in the following weeks and months ahead.
The field of Catholic education is a calling that nurtures the hearts and inspires the minds of all our students while reaching their full potential with an experience deeply rooted in the Catholic faith. I come to FVCCA with over fifteen years of experience as a teacher from St. Adalbert School. My three children are all Catholic elementary and high school graduates. My calling began when they were attendees at St. Adalbert School. After earning a Bachelor's Degree, I received a Master's Degree in General Ed with additional certification in Students with Disabilities.
Our merge in 2020 with Holy Rosary School was a blessing. We continue to expand our new FVCCA family under the spiritual guidance of Fr. Vincent Capodanno, a Navy chaplain killed in Vietnam while serving with the USMC.
Our students and their educational development are our core mission. I am excited to bring my experience and determination to this position as your Assistant Principal.
Faithfully yours,
Mrs. Donna Dawson
