25-26 Back to School Information

First Day of School- September 4th will be the first day of school for all students 3K-8th grade. 3K and PKFA students should follow the orientation instructions that will be emailed to the email on file with your application.. If you are a 3K or PKFA family and you have not yet received orientation instructions by August 13th please contact the school at 718-447-1195.
School begins at 7:30AM for K-8 students. Students should arrive at school at 7:20AM. All K-8 students are expected to be in the summer uniform. Please note that all tuition accounts need to be up to date PRIOR to the first day of school .Kindergarten students should enter through the outside classroom door (located in the parking lot). Grades 1-8 should enter through the main entrance and go down to the cafeteria.It is a full day of school for K-8 on September 4th.. There will be no bus service on Sept.4th or 5th.
 Kindergarten will be dismissed through the outside classroom door. Parents please do not come up the ramp. You will be called to the door. Grades 1-4 will be dismissed at the main entrance on Jerome Ave. Grades 5-8 will be dismissed through the Kensington Ave doors.

3K and PKFA Families should enter the school through the Kensington Ave. entrance at 8:00AM. Families will walk their child to their classroom and sign them in. We ask that you leave after saying goodbye and signing your child in so that the classroom staff can attend to the students. We know that your questions are very important! Therefore the question deserves your child's teacher's full attention, please contact the teacher via email or ask to speak with the teacher after dismissal.3K and PKFA dismissal is at 2:20PM. Kensington Ave doors will open at 2:10 PM. Parents will sign their child out at their classroom. Parents and children then exit through the Kensington Ave. doors.

Kindergarten students who are not participating in school breakfast (free to all!) should enter through the outside classroom door at 7:20.Kindergarten students participating in school breakfast should arrive between 7:00 and 7:10 through the main entrance.

Grades 1-8 students enter through the main entrance. Students who wish to have school breakfast (free to all) should arrive between 7:00 and 7:10. NO OUTSIDE BREAKFAST MAY BE CONSUMED AT SCHOOL. Students who do not wish to have school breakfast should arrive no later than 7:20.
Dismissal for grades K-8 will be at 2:00. THERE IS NO BUS SERVICE OR BEFORE OR AFTERCARE ON SEPTEMBER 5th.

Before care begins! Bus service begins! Aftercare begins! Students must be registered in Before and Aftercare to attend.
Students in grades K-8 should wear gym uniforms. Gym uniforms will be worn on Mondays and Tuesdays. Spirit wear may be worn on Tuesdays.
Back to School Night for all grades will be Sept.9th at 6:00PM. This is for adults only and is MANDATORY for one family member to attend. Our wonderful HSA will have the uniform exchange set up before the meeting for families to "shop".
