St. Adalbert’s was the only winner from the Archdiocese of New York among 12 Catholic schools nationwide who were selected to receive the annual Innovations in Education Award by Today’s Catholic Teacher magazine.

Hundreds of students dressed up as angels, superheroes, football players and cops were super excited as they stood in line to get their Halloween goodie bags Friday afternoon at the School for Civic Leadership in Graniteville.

More than 150 veterans, students, parents and faculty members all gathered inside St. Adalbert's gymnasium and auditorium for the school's 16th annual "Veterans Ice Cream Social."
